ICA CONTINGENT BAGS AWARDS AT NASHDC 2022

Last September 10-11 and September 17-18, ICA sent three teams to the National Asians High School Debating Championship or NASHDC 2022. Organized by the La Salle Debate Society, NASHDC is a tournament in Asian Parliamentary designed to hone the public speaking and critical thinking skills of young minds.

ICA Team A composed of Althea Ocomen, Robyn Montano, Cara Reyes and ICA Team B composed of Maya Tuviera, Maegan Noche, Kathleen Palacios broke into the octofinals.

ICA Team B ranked 12th in the open category and bowed out of the competition at the octofinals while ICA Team A ranked 5th in the open category and bowed out after the quarterfinals.

Althea Ocomen was awarded as the 8th open best speaker of the tournament. Additionally, Robyn Montano and Cara Reyes tied as the 6th open best speaker of the tournament.
