ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2021 – 2022

Immaculate Conception Academy is committed to safeguarding the health and safety of students, parents, school personnel and other members of the community as we grapple with the many disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Towards this end, the ICA Admission Committee has adjusted the admission policy for incoming Grade 1 – 11 applicants (transferees) for the Academic Year 2021 – 2022. Specifically, the admission tests will be waived and the applicant will be evaluated based on her scholastic records and recommendations from her current school and other submitted documents. Moreover, application will be processed online. Please read carefully the admission policy and procedure.

POLICY:

1. The Grade School is open to qualified applicants for Grade 1 to Grade 6 only when there are available slots.

 

2. The High School is open to qualified applicants for Grade 7 to Grade 11 only when there are available slots.

 

3. All applicants should have passing grades in all subjects in their current and previous grade level(s).

 

4. Applicants for Grade School and High School should have taken subjects in accordance with the curricular offerings of ICA.

 

5. One of the unique features of the ICA curriculum is the inclusion of the Chinese Language Program in all grade levels. Special arrangements will be made for applicants with no background in formal Chinese instruction.

 

6. Each applicant will be evaluated by the Committee on Admission based on the following:
a. academic records from the previous school
b. recommendation of the class adviser or guidance counselor from the previous school

B.  APPLICATION PROCEDURE

a. Clear scanned original copy of parent’s letter of intent addressed to the Committee on Admission (Indicate the name of school, school
year/s and levels attended by the applicant)

b. Clear scanned original copy of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Birth Certificate with registry number

c. Clear scanned original copy of Baptismal Certificate (if baptized Catholic)

d. Clear scanned original copy of the Quarter/Semester grades of current school year and previous school year’s report cards with the Learner Reference Number (LRN) issued by the Department of Education

e. One (1) clear scanned original copy of government issued ID of BOTH parents with signature

f. Clear scanned original copy of Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR/Identification Card), student’s passport and visa if applicant is a foreign
student

 

 

2. The Registrar’s Office will send a confirmation notice to the email of the parent once all documents in no. 1 have been received and checked. It will also include the payment procedure for the Php 500.00 non-refundable processing fee.

 

3. Once the payment of the processing fee has been verified, you will be directed through an email to download the admission forms listed below and upload the duly accomplished forms using this link: https://tinyurl.com/OtherLevelsAdmissionForms

b. ICA AD Form 1-C

c. Guidance Information Sheet

d. Recommendation Form (to be filled out by the adviser or guidance counselor of applicant’s current school who will then directly send the duly accomplished form to registrar.adm@icagh.edu.ph with the heading : RECOMMENDATION FORM (Name of Applicant)

e. Student Health Record Form (to be filled out by the applicant’s pediatrician)*

f. Hearing and Vision Screening Test Results*

 

 

 

*Submission of these documents may be deferred when physical transaction is deemed safe for all concerned.

III. RELEASE OF ADMISSION RESULTS:

ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2021 – 2022

Towards this end, the ICA Admission Committee has adjusted the admissions policy for incoming Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten pupils for the Academic Year 2021 – 2022. Specifically, the admission tests will be waived and the applicant will be evaluated based on her scholastic records and recommendations from her (most) current school and other submitted documents. Moreover, application for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten admission will be processed online. Please read carefully the eligibility requirement before you proceed to the online application.
