Last October 24, 2020, the High School Guidance Office held the Digital Citizenship talk entitled: “Status: ODL”. The talk focused on making the students understand that Digital Empathy is the key to form good relationships online. Ms. Relyn Tan, ICA Batch 2008, was invited to discuss Digital Empathy or the ability to be aware of, be sensitive to, and be supportive of one’s own and other’s feelings, needs and concerns online (DQ Institute).

Due to the pandemic, this became very important especially since most of our socialization happens online. Through the stories and experiences that Ms. Relyn shared, the students were able to evaluate the things that they share/post online and how these can affect others and their future.
