Students representing the four EDSA Ortigas Consortium Schools (EDSOR)–Saint Pedro Poveda
College, La Salle Green Hills, Xavier School, and Immaculate Conception Academy– gathered here last January 24, 2019 for the 6 th annual Grade School EDSOR Peace Camp with the theme of Mindful Over Matters. 200 student leaders got a taste of what mindfulness is through the brief workshop led by Dr. Sheila Hocson, PhD. After going through some mindful exercises, they were shown how mindfulness is applied in leadership through the talk of Mayor Trina Firmalo-Fabic of Odiongan Romblon (ICA batch 2000). After her inspiring talk, the participants had mindful games and projects to help them practice mindfulness in their daily lives. A mass officiated by Fr. Xavier Olin, S.J. capped the affair.
