This event is divided into four activities, which includes the Personality Development Workshop, College Admissions Talks, College Show &Tell and culminated by the Career Fair.

The Career Festival is an annual 2-day event hosted by the High School Guidance Area, specifically for Senior High School students centered on topics related to success and values that are essential in the career decision-making process. This event is divided into four activities, which includes the Personality Development Workshop, College Admissions Talks, College Show &Tell and culminated by the Career Fair.IMG_0137_WEBNow on its 2nd year, the Career Festival entitled “Going Places,” spearheaded by Mrs. Jetherine Smile Flogencio, and Ms. Karla Verzosa, the Grades 11 and 12 Guidance Counselors, commenced last November 9, 2017. However, due to the suspension of classes brought by tropical depression Salome, Day 2 of the Career Festival was moved to November 20, 2017 and the Career Fair to January 9, 2018.

Personality Development Workshop

The Personality Development Workshop entitled “Win in Life” was conducted in partnership with Lifequest Training and Consultancy headed by Mr. Sonny Del Rosario.  It was held last November 9 and 20, 2017 at the SHS Auditorium.  It was a workshop trilogy, where sessions covered topics on self-improvement entitled “Developing Your Person,” self-expression, entitled “Expressing Yourself,” and life-management, entitled “Balancing Your Life.”  The workshop was designed for Senior High School students who desire to develop a more dynamic and versatile character and eventually succeed in their careers. The different workshops were facilitated by Mr. Sonny Del Rosario, the President of LifeQuest Training and Consultancy, Mrs. Rikka Infantado-Fernandez, a freelance Public Relations Expert and Ms. Tony Tan, a Professional Trainer.

College Admissions Talks

The College Admissions Talk for Grade 11 students entitled “Off to College,” was held last November 9 and 20, 2017 at the Multi-Purpose Hall 1.  It was an opportunity for prestigious local universities to discuss their respective academic programs and course offerings.

College Show and Tell

IMG_0178_WEBThe College Show and Tell entitled “College Bound,” was held last November 9 and 20, 2017 at Henry Sy Sr. Hall Classrooms.  The one-hour talk enabled Grade 12 students to listen and interact with invited ICA alumnae who are presently college students or graduates from different universities.  It provided an avenue for them to share about college life and their chosen career tracks.
