The ICA Dramatics Guild (DG) is a co-curricular club that aims to hone the skills and talents of students who are inclined to the field of theatre. This year, they chose to take a break from musicals and staged the most important play in Philippine literature, “A Portrait of the Artist as Filipino” written by national artist for literature, Nick Joaquin. Set in the year 1941, it illustrates the lives of the common Filipino people during the war.

Last November 26, 2011, 90 volunteer students together with 9 High School faculty members went tree planting in Barangay Cuyambay, Tanay, Rizal. This activity is the culmination of the Student Council’s Green Thumb Green Thumb (GTGF) project held last July. Having raised P160,000.00, ICA was able to contribute 1600 trees to Haribon Foundation’s Road o 2020 project!

24 September, DTASC – Screams filled the air as hundreds of High School students cheered on their respective batch players and dancers in the long-awaited for opening of the Intramurals.

Samantha Mae Coyiuto (IV-Integrity) participated in three tennis tournaments in August alone, simultaneously tackling college applications, exams and other responsibilities as well. She kicked off the month by joining the First Makati Sports Club Ladies’ National Open held last August 1 to August 12, reaching as far as the quarterfinals. Immediately after, she competed in the Manila Polo Club Open that lasted from August 6 to August 27.
