ICA initiated a recycling activity last September 4, 2010, in the community of Tuberias, San Juan City participated in by the parents and recipients of the Educational Sponsorship Program of ICA. This activity is in its experimental period but is hoped to become a regular community activity. The purpose of this activity is to promote recycling as a way to reduce waste, thereby achieving a cleaner community and help conserve the environment. It is hoped also that through this activity, the residents, especially the children would be encouraged and inspired to take action to protect the environment.
