Sr. Teresita Canivel, MIC joined our Heavenly Father on April 1, 2012 at the age of 82. The MIC Sisters, bereaved family, relatives, friends and the community of the Immaculate Conception Academy (ICA) Greenhills, request the pious readers to pray for her eternal repose. Her remains lie in state at the ICA Chapel, 10 Grant St., Greenhills, San Juan City. The Burial Mass for her will be offered at the Mary the Queen Parish at 8:30 A.M. on April 10, Tuesday. Interment follows at the La Loma Cemetery.

Teresita Sy-Coson (ICA Batch 1966), vice-chairman of SM Investment Corp., landed on the cover of Forbes Asia's March issue, as the magazine launched its first-ever list of Asia's Power Business Women.

Sy-Coson, daughter of retail tycoon Henry Sy, was the only Filipina included in the Forbes list of 50 most powerful businesswomen in the region.

On February 4, 2012, ICA brought to a close the year-long festivities of its 75th founding anniversary. In a special night that celebrated love, prayer, commitment and friendship – the community jointly expressed its deepest appreciation for God’s unending grace.
